British Pop Superstar George Michael died at 53!
The British Pop Start George Michael, born Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou is dead. Micheal who died at 53 years of age was born to Greek Cypriot immigrant parents in 1963. In 1980s, he was one of the most popular starts in London, churning out different singles as a member of the duo Wham! and on a solo.
According to his manager, Michael Lippman, Mr Michael died of heart failure in bed, lying peacefully.
In a statement by his publicist Connie Filippello, said “It is with great sadness that we can confirm our beloved son, brother and friend George passed away peacefully at home over the Christmas period,”
“The family would ask that their privacy be respected at this difficult and emotional time. There will be no further comment at this stage,” the statement further said.
Michael had sold millions of album, and had great talents bestowed on him as he was his own studio back up band and had won couple of Grammy Award for himself.
According to the British police statement, Michaels’s death was “treated as unexplained but not suspicious.”
