History of Wonder Woman 1984 (2020) – The Plot

Wonder Woman’s next screen adventure is fast-forwarded to 1980.this time she finds herself facing a whole new look enemy in the form of Max Lord and The Cheetah. It was during the cold war of 1984 that she finds herself with these two foes of hers. This also means her reuniting with love interest Steve Trevor is now in the brink of not happening.

This movie has a rating of PG-13 and genres of Adventures, action, and fantasy. Since it is a sequel of the 2017 movie, it also stars Gal Gadot as the main cast, Connie Nielsen, Pedro Pascal, and others. The decision to remake the movie again was started immediately the first one was launched in June 2017. A month later the decision was confirmed.

Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman / Diana Prince: portrayed as the Amazon princess and their warrior, she is an immortal demigoddess. She is the daughter of both Zeus the king of the Olympian Gods and Hippolyta the queen of Amazon. She has been around in the Wonder Woman 1984 and she is now wiser and more mature than the 2017 movie.
Pedro Pascal as Maxwell (Max) Lord: he plays the part of one of the villains and dangerous guys of the movie. Though he is one of the villains he is also a businessman. He is also an entrepreneur who is a famous TV infomercial cast.
Kristen Wiig as Barbara Ann Minerva / Cheetah: this is the enemy and villain of the movie. An archaeologist who is a friend of Diana / Wonder Woman. She was later instilled with the abilities and theme appearance of a Cheetah. These abilities turned her against Diana / Wonder Woman and she teamed up with Max Lord.
Chris Pine as Steve Trevor: he plays the role of Diana / Wonder Woman’s love interest and an American spy. He is also a pilot and had presumably died in the first film.
Connie Nielsen as Hippolyta: she is the queen of the Amazonian queen of Themyscira and the mother of Diana / Wonder Woman.
Robin Wright as Antiope: she is the already dead aunt of Diana / Wonder Woman. She is also the sister of Hippolyta and the general of the Amazon army.
