Apple Watch Update – Traeger’s Smart Grill App Is On Apple Watch

Apple Watch Update – Traeger’s Smart Grill App Is On Apple Watch: Traeger’s smart grills have taken some of the toils out of real cookouts using tech. The company’s feature-rich companion app which was overhauled last year with a ton of recipes and video guides and customization pairs up with its WIFI-enabled grills to let you remotely monitor and control your cuts.

The most recent of all is you get to use it now from your Apple Watch, which packs the same core functions as the mobile version. It’s really amazing because it can help you multitask, using a mix of temperature controls, timers, and alerts.

From your Apple Watch, you can monitor your grill temperature, make adjustments and set and track a desired internal temperature.

There’s also a “keep warm mode” that lets you reduce the temperature so the food doesn’t get cold if you’re behind schedule. The company didn’t include any special features.

Some added features include a pellet sensor that shows current pellet levels so you know when to the reload-the hopper to keep the going burning.

With the grill still powered on, press the grills Menu button, select Settings>WiFi information, and confirm the grill is connected to your home network. If connected, wait 4 hours for the grill to download the update and apply the update.

Does Traeger have a watch app?

The Traeger App for Apple Watch provides the versatility of the Traeger App with the convenience of the Apple Watch. Below are the features of the app that you can control from your Apple Watch: Grill temperature control and readout.

Why is the Traeger app not working?

To fix your Traeger WiFi issues make sure you are using the latest version of the Traeger App and that your grill is running the latest Firmware.
Then power cycle both your phone and the grill, factory reset the grill, and then pair your grill to WiFi (2.4GHz only). Pairing takes 4 hours.

Why won’t my Traeger connect to my phone?

Android: Varies on the device but customers can either clear the Traeger App cache data or all device cache data. If the pairing attempt fails, perform a WiFi Reset on your grill.
If the firmware is V2. 00.00 or lower or the grill is an AC Timberline (1st gen Timberline), skip this step and continue troubleshooting.
