The British Council has been announced the IELTS result for exam 2021. IELTS 2020 exam was conducted on May 23, 2021, in online mode. The result for the IELTS exam 2021 has been released in online mode.

Thus, candidates can check their results by logging in to their test taker portal using their test date, date of birth, identification document number, and candidate number. British Council announces the result for The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) paper-based test on the 13^th day from the day of conduct of the exam at 12 noon.

Also, the IELTS result for the computer-based tests is generally announced within 5 to 7 days from the day of the conduct of the exam.

In order to check the result for the IELTS exam in online mode, the candidates will be required to follow the steps given below-

1. Visit the official website of the British Council (ielts.britishcouncil.org).
2. Go and click on the direct link given to check the result.
3. Also, the candidates will be now required to select the test date they wish to check their results for.
4. Enter the date of birth, identification document number, and candidate number and click on the find button.
5. Also, after submitting the above-mentioned details, the candidates will be redirected to their IELTS exam results.

How to Check IELTS Exam Result 2021 Online Based on Test Taker Portal

You can view your IELTS exam result 2020 online based on the test taker portal via one of these websites:

• British Council network of test centers
• IDP IELTS Australia network of test centers
• IELTS USA network of test centers

You will need your passport or ID number. And this should be the same number you used when you registered for the test.

Also, you will need your candidate number. However, if you have any questions or problems, contact your test center.

How to Get IELTS Exam Result 2021 from the Test Center

Aspirants can also collect their IELTS 2020 exam results from their respective exam centers. For this, the students will be required to follow the below-mentioned steps-

1. Candidates will be required to show the ID number or passport they used during registration for the IELTS exam at their respective exam center.
2. Also,  candidates will receive their candidate numbers on the test day. However, students are advised to keep their candidate’s number save with them.
3. Also, it must be noted that the result will not be made available over the phone, mail, or fax for the candidates will collect their results from the test center.

How to Check IELTS Exam Result 2021 through SMS

The following steps can be considered to check the IELTS exam 2021 result through SMS service-

1. The candidates will be required to send a SMS (example: RESULT <space> Candidate Number <space> Passport Number) to 9289892898 after 12 pm IST to get their result.
2. Also, the candidates will get their IELTS results via SMS. And the scores will be sent automatically to their preferred universities chosen by them at the time of registration.

How to Check IELTS Exam Result 2021 via Mail

After the declaration of the result, the British Council will send the results to the candidates via mail on their registered email IDs.

However, students are advised to keep checking their emails regularly for not to miss any notification for the result.

ELTS Exam Result 2021: Provision of Test Reform Form (TRF)

The Test Report Form (TRF) will provide the candidates with their overall band score along with the band scores for every section, i.e. listening, reading, writing, and speaking.

Also, the average of all four sections, when rounded off to the nearest full or half band is known as the overall band score.  Within 10 days from the day of declaration of result, the candidates will get their TRF via courier or speed post.

The details regarding the shipment and a tracking number will be communicated to the candidates via SMS. It is advisable for the students to keep their TRF safe with them.
