LATEST UPDATE: In view of the present security in the country as it relates to curfews and inter-state traveling, your CBT Entrance examination earlier scheduled to start from Monday 26th October 2020 has been shifted to a later date. Your personal scheduled date for the exam will be communicated to you from Monday 26th October 2020 via SMS.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the FCT Schools of Nursing/Midwifery Gwagwalada, Abuja, BASIC NURSING PROGRAMME for the 2020/2021 academic session.

The basic general nursing training is a general nursing course open to young males and females of not less than 17years of age, at the time of admission.

How to Apply for FCT School of Nursing Admission Form

Admission Entry Requirements:

Eligible candidates should possess WAEC, GCE, or NECO with at least FIVE CREDIT passes including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at not more than two sittings. The result(s) presented should not be more than 10 years since the examination was written. NABTEB certificate is not acceptable.

The candidate must be up to 17 years of age.

Pregnant women are not eligible for admission.

Application Process:

Candidates wishing to obtain the forms should show evidence of payment of a non-refundable fee of 5,000.00 (Five Thousand Naira) only.

Forms can be obtained at Room 080, FCT HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES SECRETARIAT, NURSING DEPARTMENT, AREA 11, GARKI-ABUJA.

Candidates wishing to obtain the forms should show evidence of payment of a non-refundable fee of N5,000.00 (Five Thousand Naira) only into:

• Candidates will be allocated to examination centres based on their application IDs.
• Entrance Examination Schedule will hold as Computer Based Test from 26th – 31st October, 2020 (POSTPONED).
