How Long can you Temporarily Deactivate Facebook: The social network said there is no limit on how long a user can keep her account deactivated. But if a Facebook user really wants to make the separation permanent, she can choose to delete the account altogether.
So what can you do? If you don’t want to delete your Facebook account outright (too many memories, I know), then you can simply deactivate it temporarily.
It’s called the “super-logoff” and it was a trick used by early privacy-conscious users each time they left the site.
When you stop using a social networking profile or website, it is a good idea to deactivate or delete your account.
This will mean that your content is no longer visible online and should not be searchable online. It will also remove the risk of these accounts being used by others or hacked without you knowing.
Facebook automatically saves all data for deactivated accounts so that you can easily reactivate the account if you change your mind and want to use the social network again.
Facebook doesn’t remove old account information after any set time, so you can reactivate Facebook a year after closing the account.
If you need to take a Facebook timeout for sanity or to work on a project, you can deactivate your account for an indefinite period right in your Facebook preferences.
When you are logged into the site, click the menu triangle at the top of the page and choose Settings.
What does a deactivated Facebook account look like? You won’t be able to check their profile because links revert to plain text. Posts they’ve made on your timeline will still exist but you will not be able to click on their name.
Since your privacy settings don’t change before or after deactivating and reactivating your account, it’s as open to the people on your friends list as it was the day you clicked “Deactivate your account.”
Ultimately there is no way to reactivate your account without your friends eventually knowing that you’ve come
To snooze a profile, Page or group from your Feed:
Go to the post from the profile, Page or group you want to snooze, then tap in the top right of the post.
Tap Snooze [Name] for 30 days.
Overuse: Because there are so many ways to share on Facebook, the social networking site can become time consuming.
If you find that Facebook is taking up too many minutes of your day, using deactivation lets you break the habit of constantly checking your account without losing the comments and photos you’ve gathered.
Among those list, there will be a list stating that “This is temporary, I will get back soon” if you tick this option your account will be automatically activated after completion of 7 days from the day of deactivation.
Disabling your account is basically saying that you do not want to use Instagram for the time being. Users disable their accounts so that they can keep their information intact.
And not have to worry about likes and comments. When you disable your account, your account essentially disappears off Instagram.
