Kelly Ripa Inducted Into New Jersey Hall Of Fame. – The popular Kelly Ripa was on Sunday recognized just at her own home state with an honor of such prestige.
The 46 year old host of the Live! with Kelly and Ryan was inducted on Sunday (May 7) into the prestigious and honorary New Jersey Hall of Fame at the Asbury Park Convention in Asbury Park, NJ.
Kelly was awarded the honorary award in recognition for having contributed immensely in the entertainment industry.
While she was joined by her family, she was presented with the award by her own father Joe.
And while on stage, Kelly expressed her happiness and excitement “I really am thrilled that I got to share the night with my parents and my children. I’m only sorry my husband isn’t here – he’s working, but it’s nice to have all of my family and so many friends here,” she said.
