Kendall Jenner’s Controversial Pepsi Commercial Gets Pulled.

Pepsi has pulled it’s controversial commercial starring Kendall Jenner following criticism of the ad.

The video has been removed from YouTube and will not be shared on any further platforms.

“Pepsi was trying to project a global message of unity, peace and understanding. Clearly, we missed the mark, and we apologize,” the brand reportedly said in a statement.

They continued, “We did not intend to make light of any serious issue. We are pulling the content and halting any further rollout. We also apologize for putting Kendall Jenner in this position.”

In the commercial, Kendall ditches her photo shoot to join a protest march where she grabs a can of soda then hands it to a police officer as the crowd erupts in cheers.

Pepsi was accused of appropriating the resistance movement for commercialized purposes.
