About National Sugar Development Council

The key purpose of the National Sugar Development Council recruitment is to create more jobs for Nigerian youths both graduates and undergraduates.

The National Sugar Development Council (NSDC) was established by Decree 88 of 1993, now an Act of the National Assembly, Act Cap. No. 78 LFN of 2004, Amended in 2015, to catalyze the development of the sugar industry with a view to ensuring that Nigeria attains at least, 70% self-sufficiency in her sugar requirement within the shortest possible time and even export to earn foreign exchange.

National Sugar Development Council Recruitment Requirements

Applicants applying for the National Sugar Development Council recruitment must possess any of the following

1. Possession of B.Sc, HND, NCE, OND in relation to the applied position from a recognized institution.
2. Any added certificate either postgraduate or professional certification will be of advantage.
3. NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificate.
4. Applicants must not be above 35 years old.
5. West African School Certificate (WAEC) or Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSSC) with Credits in not less than three (3) subjects including English and at least passes in two (2) other subjects; or
6. Candidates must have National Examination Council (NECO)/General Certificate of Education (GCE) Ordinary Level with passes in four (4) subjects obtained at one sitting or five (5) subjects obtained at two sittings including the English Language.)
7. National Diploma (ND) obtained from a recognized institution. National Certificate of Education (NCE) from a recognized institution; or General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) in two (2) subjects obtained at one sitting or three (3) subjects obtained at two sittings.
8. Must be computer literate.
