Stranger Things’ Shannon Purser Comes Out as Bisexual – Shannon Purser has come out to her fans as bisexual in a powerful note.

The 19-year-old actress, best known for playing Barb on Stranger Things and Ethel on Riverdale, wrote the letter to fans after getting candid about her sexuality on Twitter last week.

“I don’t normally do this, but I figure now is as good a time as any to get personal,” Shannon wrote in the note. “I’ve only just recently come out as bisexual to my family and friends. It’s something I am still processing and trying to understand and I don’t like talking about it too much. I’m very very new to the LGBT community.”
