Anti-Drone Gun Looking Like To Cause Serious Explosion – This fiery looking beast of a DroneGun, looking like it’s ’bout causing a major world explosion, in reality however, the DroneGun is actually gentle in it’s method of operation.

This was according to the Australian firm DroneShield, the new bit of kit fires no destructive projectiles from the drone when the operator pulls the trigger. Could this be an attempt to deal with the growing problem of incursions by amateur drone pilots. When the trigger is pulled, instead of causing explosion,  the device jams the signal between the drone pilot and the drone, causing it to land on the ground at once.

This according to DroneShield, is an “awesome beast and surprisingly gentle”

The dronegun can be Operated by a single person and by using the company’s drone sensor gear, the 13-pound (6 kg) DroneGun can take down rogue quadcopters and other remotely controlled flying machines up to 1.25 miles.

And according to the CEO of DroneShield, Peter James, the target market includes “a wide range of customers from government and military agencies to civil infrastructure to VIP protection.”

So maybe you don’t expect to see at your usual open stores.
