5. Put in the password you wish to use for your Gmail account under both Create a password and Confirm your password.
NB: Make sure you put a password that is not easy to guess and not difficult for you to remember. For enhanced security, you should later enable two point authentication for your Gmail account.
6. You will see a space provided for your birth date, enter your birth date there.
7. Make sure you select your gender under Gender.

Tip: You don’t need to specify a phone number to sign up for Gmail.
9. Enter an existing email address under Your current email address if you want to be able to recover a lost password with it.
Tip: You do not have to specify this secondary email address to create a Gmail account.
Note: You will have to verify that the email address belongs to you by following a link in an email received from Gmail.
10. If prompted, type the characters in the captcha picture where it will ask you to prove you are not a robot.
11. Select your country or location in the space provided for that.
12. Click Next Step.
13. Examine Google’s terms for serving Gmail and the Gmail privacy policy.
14. Click I AGREE.
