2. Click the message link on the left side of your Facebook account home page (see image above). This will take you to your Facebook messages page.

3. Click the New Message button in the top-right corner of the page. – A blank message form opens which will enable you send your message to recipient.

4. In the blank message form, type in the name of Facebook messages recipient to address the message. –

While typing the name, Facebook will start auto-fill names from your friend list. When the the right or correct friend recipient appear, select the name by clicking on it, or by highlighting it and then press enter.

5. Now fill in the message text box as you would do for an email messaging.

When you are done composing and writing your Facebook messages, simply click the “Send button” which is in the lower-right corner of the New Message form. (Or you can decide to click on Cancel if you eventually change your mind about sending the message).

While on their Timeline, click on the message icon in the navigation bar at the top of the page (within their cover photo area). This will open a message text box where you can send them messages.
