Ambassador E.O Kolade scholarship – The Ambassador E.O Kolade scholarship is for the sub-saharan Africa. The scholarship with approx. value of £25,000 is for applicant to a full-time taught masters program in London School Of Economics and Political Science (LSE)

Scholarship cover; There is one scholarship with an approx. the value of £25,000 for an applicant to a full-time taught masters programme.
Beneficiaries; Applicants from sub-Saharan Africa (Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Congo (Brazzaville), Congo (Democratic Republic), Ivory Coast, Djibouti, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Sudan, Swaziland, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe) are eligible to apply for this scholarship
Eligibility And Admission Requiement;
Eligible applicants must be a national of, and resident in, a country in Sub-Saharan Africa. The selection will be based on merit and financial need.
Entrance Requirements: Applicants must have their previous degree.
English language Requirements: If English is not the first language a minimum of IELTS 6.5 or equivalent is required with all elements passed at 6.0 or above. Applicants who have previously successfully completed programmes delivered in English will be exempt from the above requirement subject to submission of documentation. A minimum of one year of full-time study, employment or equivalent is required.
How to Apply;
To be considered for this scholarship, you must have completed the 2017/18 LSE Graduate Financial Support Application form and received an offer of admission (conditional or unconditional) by 5pm UK time on 26 April 2017. You must complete Section G – Personal Statement.
Deadline; The LSE Graduate Financial Support Application form will be available until 26 April 2017.
Selection for this scholarship will take place between May and July 2017 and only the successful recipient(s) will be notified by the end of July 2017. If you have not heard from the Financial Support Office by the end of July 2017, you must assume your application has been unsuccessful. Only successful applicants will be notified.
