Application is on-going for the The University of Amsterdam (UvA) merit Scholarship.
The University aims to attract the world’s brightest students to its international classrooms. Outstanding students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) can apply for an Amsterdam Merit Scholarship (AMS).
Eligibility;
* Students with non EEA passport.
* Must have applied for a degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s)programme at the University of Amsterdam
* Not eligible for support under Dutch system of study grants and loans
* Must be enrolled at th UvA as full-time student for the programme and academic year for which the schorlarship is awarded.
* Subsequent year scholarship continuation depends on the satisfactory study progress.

Applications should be submitted to the Admission Offices of the Graduate Schools.
N/B; Deadlind for AMS differ from faculty to faculty and or Graduate School.
Find the specific eligibility requirements, selection criteria and application instructions on each faculty or Graduate School website.
Hint: Depending on the faculty, the scholarship can vary between €2,000 – €24,000.
The Amsterdam Merit Scholarship can sometimes be supplemented with the Holland Scholarship (HS), of which the University of Amsterdam is a participating member.
