This action will load another page for you.
4. Then, click on “Account Security” – This is among the options at the left corner of the new page.
5. Now click on “Change Password”
6. Enter and confirm your new password
7. Click Continue and a confirmation will appear then click Continue to finish.
How To Reset A Forgotten Yahoo Mail Password.

Take the following steps to reset a forgotten yahoo mail password:
1. Go to the Sign-in Helper.
2. Enter your phone number or email address.
3. Click Continue.
4. If prompted, enter the CAPTCHA code.
5. If you can receive text messages to the number listed, click Yes, text me an Account Key.
6. If you have access to the email address listed, click Yes, send me an Account Key.
Depending on the option you’ve selected, Yahoo will send an Account Key to your phone or email.
7. Enter the Account Key that Yahoo sent in the field provided.
8. Then click Verify.
9. Select an account to reset from the list connected to your mobile number or email address.
10. Click Continue and reset the forgotten Yahoo Mail password.
You can also reset a forgotten Yahoo Mail password Using your Secret Questions, but If you don’t have secret questions on file, that reset option won’t be available in Sign-in Helper.
Also, remember that the system will determine which if the secret questions will be made available to you. If you have forgotten your Yahoo password and wish to use your security questions follow these steps:
1. Yahoo’s Contact page and select Password and sign in.
2. Under sub-topic two, select Forgot Password.
3. Under Recommended Option, enter your email address.
4. Click on Submit.
5. But If prompted, enter the CAPTCHA code.
6. Select Use my secret questions, followed by Next.
7. Then enter the answers to your security questions.
8. If entered correctly, Yahoo will prompt you to enter a new password.
9. Enter your new password and click on Next to finish your password recovery.
But if you have forgotten your Secret Question too, you can still reset a forgotten Yahoo Mail password by:
1. Go to the Password Helper.
2. Enter your email address.
If you have a mobile number, listed on your account, that option will show it.
3. But Click No, I can’t receive text, if your phone number is not available to you then, You’ll see your alternate email address.
4. If you have access to that email, click Yes, email me.
A “Recovery access to your Yahoo account” email will be sent to your alternate email address.
5. Enter the verification code Yahoo sent you, then click Submit.
6. Click Continue or you can click Create new password and update it on the spot.
Important Note: If you can’t answer the secret question and you do not have access to your alternate e-mail address or phone number, there is nothing else you can do as Yahoo is not able to tell that you are the legitimate owner.
