Peggy Ovire, who is also known as Ego Oyibo, is an award-winning Nigerian actress, model, movie producer, and entrepreneur. She is the CEO/Founder of the Peggy World Clothing Line.
Peggy Ovire Background
Peggy Ovire Enoho was born on the 22nd of October 1985, in Lagos State, and she is the last child of her parents’ six children. Her father was a tough disciplinarian, so she didn’t get any preferential treatment as the last child. Although Peggy hails from Ughelli, Delta State, she is based in Lagos, where she had her early education.
She attended Itire nursery and primary school, Surulere, and proceeded to AUD secondary school, Surulere, Lagos, for her secondary education. After obtaining her WAEC Certificate, she proceeded to Delta State University, Abraka (DELSU), but soon left to Ambrose Alli University (AAU) where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Banking and Finance.
Peggy Ovire Career
As a child, Peggy wanted to become either a lawyer or doctor to make her family proud, but she found herself in Nollywood after a friend talked her into it. Before Peggy became an actress, she contested and won the 2006 edition of the Miss Nigeria Galaxy beauty pageantry.
Peggy commenced her career in Nollywood in 2013, with a movie produced by Uche Nancy. She rose to limelight in 2015, with the Nigerian television series, produced by ROK Studios, Husbands of Lagos. Thus far, she has featured in over 30 movies and won a few awards.
